Festival Week
The floods in Thailand and Bangkok have been devastating and concerns for the safety of our participants and in consideration of the difficulties that might be imposed by the requirements of producing an event under such circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our event for 2011.
We have been watching events in Thailand over the last couple months and between the current floods and the recent change of government, we made this decision to cancel the festival. We had been considering a smaller venue, but with the flooding, we have canceled altogether.
We will be preparing for 2012, with a more valuable competition having learned from our first year experience and having built many friend, partners and supporters. We will be concluding this year's competition in November with a final judging and announcement of winners who will receive their trophies. We will be publishing and promoting the winners and their work as we start to announce the details for 2012.
